Vikings Run Strong 3200’s at North Shore
The meet was held at the 168th Street Armory in New York
Megan McCabe placed seventh in the 3,000-meter run and Matt Granizo dropped a big personal best in the boys 3,200 to highlight action for the Union Catholic track and field teams at the North Shore Invitational on Wednesday at the 168th Street Armory in New York.
McCabe ran 11:16.50 in the girls 3K to grab seventh place, and UC’s Sarah Abood was 13th in 11:40.66, and Kathryn Zeigler finished 18th in 12:03.17.
In the boys 3,200, Granizo ran 10:21.64 to place 21st, and UC’s Zach Turner placed 34th in 10:29.26, and Matt Swinehart ran 11:12.23 to place 53rd.
